OUR STRUGGLE @OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY

Created by Peter 7 years ago
Words really cannot express or describe the series of struggle we had during our days @OAU.
Our class and set happen to be characterized by complexities and opposites that's hard to describe.
It all started with the 60/40 alliances. (Two JAMB ADMISSION YEARS MERGED IN THAT RATIO)
There comes the class struggle, academic competition, political fraternity, and name it. In the midst of all these, each of us had to contend with the ever growing, ever conscious OAU STRUGGLE and personal dreams of academic achievements and excellence we came to OAU to pursue...Despite all these, you would be stargerred at the bond within us if you'd have to contend with our class or our department those years. I still remember, Our class, with our intra-struggles was the dominating factor of the political system of the department and faculty.
I can vividly remember the calmness, poise, maturity, candour and friendliness of Mojeed Oladigbolu in the midst of all these multifaceted experience. And due to his humility, His academic excellence and strides was even unnoticed by many...meanwhile he graduated with the first 5% of the leading the class.
....Life to me took a new perspective after we left the hospital with few old friends and the death of this "fellow soldier whom we fought side-by-side" as it were, was announced.
I will always remember you Mojeed. Great humble guy!!!
